- Using a soft towel wet with water or a color safe laundry detergent diluted with water, blot the affected area until it is removed.
- After cleaning, if it is a garment, let it soak in water overnight to ensure that the product has been completely removed.
- On carpet, cover the spot with a damp washcloth and check it again the next day for residual product.
- If the Hardwood Floor Refinisher on the garment/carpet is dry, but it has not been 24 hours since it was applied:
- For clothing: soak the garment in water overnight and try to gently pick off the Hardwood Floor Refinisher.
